Vizsla Puppy First Week Home

Working gundog puppy Drift explores the world in her first week home. This vizsla puppy meets grass and puddles for the first time, settles in a cafe, rides in the car, and begins to learn what normal life looks like with other dogs and a cat.

This video is not about rushing experiences or ticking boxes. It is about chosen, supported early exposure. Short moments. Quiet spaces. Time to come back down again after something new.

You will see Drift curious, unsure, playful and settled. All of those states matter. She is allowed to be a puppy. My job is to shape the day so she can cope and recover, not to control her reactions.

Every interaction with my other dogs and my cat is supervised. Nothing here is left to chance. This is part one of a series following Drift from week one.

The next episode looks at Play and Boundaries.
