Training that helps dogs cope with real life
Relationship led, force free dog training for dogs who find everyday life hard and people who are tired of quick fixes and being told they are doing it wrong.
I don’t offer quick fixes or pressure to commit.
Some people use a consultation on its own to get clarity and relief. Others go on to more structured support. Both are fine.
The aim is to help you understand your dog and know what to do next.
Consistency matters.
I want to understand how you work
Not all training approaches are the same.
Read about my ethics, my pace, and why I focus on regulation, understanding, and real life skills rather than rushing dogs into obedience.
I’m here for gundog training
I also offer fun pet gundog training for people who want to work their dogs in a thoughtful, relationship led way.
This includes foundations, confidence building, and practical skills without pressure or force.
I need individual help
If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure what your dog needs, start here.
We begin with an initial consultation so I can look at the dog in front of you and help you decide what support actually makes sense.
I’m looking for classes
Small, capped group classes focused on real life skills, confidence, and learning how to work with your dog rather than control them.
Sit, Stay, Ask Awkward Questions
Your dog’s not a robot. Neither should your trainer be.
Choosing a trainer can feel like bad online dating. Too many buzzwords. Not enough substance. Everyone’s an expert until things get tricky.
Science-Based, Kind Methods
Reward-based, evidence-led training. No shouting. No scare tactics. No drama.
Gentle Motivation
If someone’s idea of training involves spray bottles or poking - no thanks. You and your dog deserve better.
Real Education
Not just a course from the 90s and a “natural with animals” badge. Learning never stops. It shouldn’t have back then either.
Clear, Human-Speak
Trainers should talk like people. Not robots. Not textbooks. Just clear, simple explanations that make sense.
Fun. Actually.
Training should feel good. For both of you. If it’s all frowns and correction tools, you’ve joined the Ministry of Misery.
Support for Humans Too
You’re part of this. You matter. Good training supports you as much as your dog.
Want to Know How We Train?
No fear. No faff. No performance cones.
Training should feel like a partnership
Where you both learn, laugh, and occasionally pretend you know what you’re doing
