You can book individual Foundation classes whenever you like. Or, if you'd prefer ongoing guidance through puppyhood and adolescence, The First Year gives you twelve months of training and support.
Start with foundation training
Perfect if you want to build strong foundations in a supportive group.
Flexible classes, indoors and outdoors
Our Foundation classes run both indoors in a village hall and outdoors in a secure training field, where we can practise skills in a more realistic environment.
The indoor sessions give us space to build confidence, connection and essential skills, while outdoor sessions help you put those skills into practice around everyday distractions.
It's a pick and mix approach. Come to either or both, choose the dates that suit you and work on the things that matter to you and your dog.

Support through the first year

Twelve months of practical training, individual guidance and ongoing support, from those first puppy days through adolescence.
Flexible payment options available, so you don't have to pay everything upfront.
HERE’S HOW WE SUPPORT YOU
Your first year together includes:
12 group training sessions – Choose from our indoor and outdoor Foundation classes, building skills and putting them into practice around real-life distractions.
6 individual support walks (60 minutes each) – Dedicated time to work on the things that matter to you and your dog, in the environments where you actually need those skills.
An introductory home visit (90 minutes) – We'll get to know you, your puppy and your routines, and make a practical plan for getting started.
A follow-up home visit (90 minutes) – A chance to review progress, revisit challenges and tackle the changes that often arrive with adolescence.
6 video training reviews – Send me videos of your training for individual feedback, suggestions and help with your next steps.
WhatsApp support, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm – For questions, advice and reassurance between sessions.
Training notes and resources – Relevant written guidance, booklets and videos to support what we're working on together.

When the world suddenly becomes much more interesting than you are. We'll adapt your training as your dog develops, rather than expecting puppy skills to magically survive adolescence.
As life happens
Questions, unexpected challenges and those moments when something that was going beautifully suddenly isn't. You've got someone to ask who already knows your dog.
By the end of the year
You'll have a better understanding of your dog, practical skills to keep building on and the confidence to continue together.
